The Challenge
Murney Limited were employed as part of the ongoing repair and maintenance programme, which also included new connections and metering works across the North and West Yorkshire areas.
The Solution
Murney Limited employed 21 teams providing a range of services from emergency response to burst main up to 36” in diameter, stop tap replacement, new main laying, new meter installations and standby services.
During this period Murney adopted many techniques to improve service delivery which included the use of valve repacking form the surface, the use of hydrant mini line stop which enables the removal of a hydrant with an interruption to supply and working closely with our clients on the roll out of enhanced customer service training for all our teams.
