The Challenge
Murney Limited have been employed to support “Project Lightening” which is part of the Virgin Media £3billion investment programme designed to expand their cable network which is focused on “filling the gaps” in their urban network.
The Solution
The works involved the excavation and reinstatement of single, two, three and four-way duct configurations as an extension to the existing network. The work involved close liaison with local authorities and resident to ensure that disruption was kept to a minimum. In addition, boxes and plinths for cabinets were also constructed along the routes.
